Austin Capital Partners, L.P. ("Austin Capital") is a private capital fund that invests in smaller middle market companies in low and mid-technology manufacturing and related businesses in the Ohio and Lower Great Lakes regions. Our acquisitions are typically privately-owned, profitable, and growing, with leadership positions in their market segments.

Our typical investment target is a successful company with sales in excess of $8 million dollars and generally below $30 million dollars. Transaction values typically range between $5 and $20 million in aggregate.

Many of our investors and Advisory Board members are successful senior operating executives with significant business experience. We believe in leveraging their skills and capabilities through board service, active management roles, coaching, or project support as appropriate to help our portfolio companies achieve superior returns and growth.

Transactions may take a number of forms, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, privatizations, expansion capital and industry consolidations or build-ups. We back management buyouts, but are prepared to bring in senior line management where appropriate.

Our goal is to realize superior rates of return through long-term capital gains. The holding period for investments ranges between two and ten years, with targeted investment liquidations in four to six years.
