Rita S. Carroll
Mrs. Carroll is a Director of Business Development at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, the world's largest tire company with 80 operating facilities in 28 countries. Prior to joining Goodyear Mrs. Carroll was with The TransAction Group, a Cleveland-based investment banking firm. She has employed her strategic planning and transaction skills in a number of manufacturing, technology and service situations.
Mrs. Carroll has extensive experience in the aerospace/defense, automotive and chemical industries, as well as cross border transaction experience in Asia, Europe and South America. Previously, she was Director of Business Development for SPX/Contech, the die-casting division of SPX Corporation (NYSE). She began her career with GenCorp (NYSE) and has experience in a variety of finance and corporate development positions.
Mrs. Carroll earned her M.B.A. from the University of Akron and a B.S.B.A. degree from John Carroll University. Mrs. Carroll has been awarded the John Carroll University Alumni Service Award and the Outstanding Young Woman in Business Award from Akron City Women's Club.
