The Company, which operates under the trade name Conneaut Leather, is a quality leather finisher that serves numerous markets, including the high-end office furniture industry, automotive aftermarket, aircraft and bookbinding markets.
Austin Capital Partners, L.P., in partnership with senior management, acquired Vanner, Inc. in August 2005. Vanner, Inc. designs, manufactures, and supports power conversion and power management systems and related products for the mobile utility, transit bus and coach, emergency vehicle, truck, and remote battery monitoring markets.
Southern Mill Creek Products of Ohio, Inc.
Austin Capital Partners, L.P., in partnership with Thomas E. Evans, acquired Southern Mill Creek Products of Ohio, Inc. ("SMCP") in June 2005. SMCP is a leading distributor of pest control products and equipment to "PPMs" (professional pest managers). SMCP has numerous sales and distribution outlets throughout the United States.
Westny Building Products Company
Austin Capital Partners, L.P., in partnership with Seneca Capital Partners and Michael A. Schuler, acquired Westny Building Products Company ("Westny") in December 2003. Westny is the exclusive distributor of Pella Windows and door products (www.pella.com) for western New York, including Buffalo, Rochester, and Jamestown.
Austin Capital Partners, L.P., in partnership with senior management, acquired The C.E. White Co. in April, 2008. The C.E. White Co. is a leading manufacturer of seats and seating systems for school buses and related vehicles.
