Austin Capital's principals have historically achieved high rates of return on invested capital by acquiring businesses in partnership with entrepreneurial executives who possess exceptional operating abilities. These entrepreneurial executives become our operating partners.

In our transactions, we align the interests of our operating partners and shareholders by requiring that our operating partners participate in the deal by investing capital.

We will consider exit strategies that provide our operating partners with opportunities to acquire their portfolio companies when our investment is liquidated.

We prefer to limit the number of operating partners in any transaction to key employees critical to the success of the business.

Management Buyouts

Austin Capital welcomes inquiries from management teams or key executives seeking financial support for a management buyout. In such cases, we will outline proposed management structures early in the transaction to ensure that operating roles and responsibilities are clear. We value relationships and seek compatibility within our portfolio companies.

We welcome confidential inquiries from operating executives that have demonstrated the ability to successfully manage and grow a business that would fit within our investment criteria. Many of our fund investors are such executives and we are willing to seek appropriate matches for their talents.
